The Global Love Project is dedicated to promoting Peace, sustainability, and community engagement through art and cultural initiatives. We strive to unite diverse communities and enhance global understanding by harnessing the power of creative expression and collaborative efforts.
our mission
Founded in St. Petersburg, FL in 2022 by Justin Lucci, The Global Love Project began with a simple act: chalking the word “LOVE :)” on the sidewalk. What started as a personal practice to transform challenging emotions into a visual expression of Love quickly grew into a public, communal experience that has become a meaningful part of our city’s culture.
Today, four years later, weekly Sundays on Central Avenue gatherings and other events invite participants and viewers alike to “Come Play and Be Intentional” as they chalk, observe, and reflect. These gatherings honor art as a universal language, demonstrating how creative expression can connect people, inspire contemplation, and unite communities to create positive change.
Our story
Host weekly community chalk gatherings centered on Love, reflection, and connection
Create interactive public art experiences
Facilitate youth and community engagement through creativity
Build bridges between individuals, organizations, and ideas to develop and implement innovative, real-world solutions guided by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals
What we do
Transforming expression into action
Motivated by Love, The Global Love Project channels creativity into tangible impact. Real and lasting solutions require many perspectives, shared intention, and thoughtful, coordinated action.
The network of relationships and insights formed through our community events are leveraged to develop 17 committees aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. These committees bring together like-minded individuals, businesses, and nonprofits to align their efforts into intentional, community-driven initiatives with measurable outcomes, while sharing knowledge and amplifying collective impact.
Annual observances such as International Day of Peace highlight our commitment to social good and create additional opportunities for both local and global engagement, while recognizing and celebrating progress each year.
For The Global Love Project, art is more than aesthetic or experiential. It is a path to connection, understanding, and meaningful action, with the power to strengthen individuals, communities, and the world.
