While our regular collaborative chalking events are open to the community, we also work with festivals, business openings, community celebrations, private events, and other special occasions throughout the year.
Chalk is a simple way to transform a space, create an inviting atmosphere, and get people involved. It’s colorful, joyful, highly photographable, and gives your guests something fun to see, do, and share.
Every event is a little different. Pricing depends on the timing, location, and what you have in mind. We can create a custom chalk installation for your event, facilitate an interactive chalk activity for your guests, or build a combination of both.

A Few Things to Know Before Booking
We’re excited to create something special with you! Here are a few things to keep in mind when planning your experience:
You’re hiring an artist: Chalking is a creative service, and when you book with us, you’re hiring an artist to bring your event to life. We believe artists should be paid fairly for their time, creativity, and expertise, and we compensate our artists at a fair hourly rate. We’ll always do our best to work within your budget and create an experience that fits your needs. Please keep in mind that the amount of funding available may affect the amount of time, artwork, or services we’re able to provide.
Pricing: Our pricing varies based on the details of your event, including the number of guests, size and scope of the chalk artwork, location, and materials needed. We’ll provide a customized quote after receiving your inquiry form. A chalk and materials surcharge may apply based on the expected number of guests.
Your vision, the artist’s creativity: We’ll consider your input to create a piece that fits the overall feel and purpose of your event, while giving the artist room to bring their own creativity and style to the design.
Let creativity flow: You don’t have to have a specific theme in mind! Sometimes the most exciting results come from giving the artist a little creative freedom and letting the ideas flow.
Chalking surfaces: Chalk works best on smooth, clean, porous surfaces such as sidewalks, patios, and certain concrete areas. We’ll help determine whether your space is a good fit. For the best results, please make sure the designated chalking area is clean and free of debris before we arrive.
Weather permitting: Since chalking is an outdoor experience, events are weather dependent. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and work with you if weather becomes a concern.
Booking & Payment
To reserve your date, a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due one week before your event.
We accept payment by cash, check, or Venmo.
Need to cancel? No problem. Cancellations made at least one week before the event are eligible for a full refund of payments made, minus a $20 booking fee. If we need to cancel your event due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of your booking.
