Recognized by the United Nations each September 21, International Day of Peace is a global call to strengthen the ideals of peace through everyday action. This year’s theme, “Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” reflects the belief that peace is not simply the absence of conflict, it is something communities must build through connection, compassion, opportunity, sustainability, and service.
